Зламане війною дитинство — випробування, на яке не заслуговує жодна юна душа. Однак наслідки російського вторгнення лише на цей день — сотні загиблих та поранених дітей, тисячі депортованих та десятки тисяч залишених сиротами й напівсиротами. Решта мусить пристосовуватися до нового життя за кордоном або в новому місті, до повітряних тривог та обстрілів, до нескінченного очікування рідних із фронту. Війна руйнує у дітях найчистіше, лишаючи видимі й невидимі шрами на декілька поколінь.

Реліз «Purity» від L’Arc de Langeron, сольного сайд-проєкту Леоніда Жданова з Casa Ukrania, присвячений усім постраждалим українським дітям і говорить про травматичний досвід, який ті мусять щодня переживати. Серйозні теми подані в обгортці дитячого погляду на світ і світло-меланхолійної музики — суміші аналогових тембрів та дитячого інструментарію, що несе в собі водночас жаль та надію на відновлення.

A war-torn childhood is an ordeal that no young soul deserves. But the russian invasion has already resulted in hundreds of killed and injured children, thousands of deported and tens of thousands orphaned or half-orphaned ones. The rest have to adjust to the life in a new country or city, to constant air alerts and shelling, to endless waiting for their loved ones to come back from the frontline. War ruins the purest in children, leaving its visible and invisible scars for generations.

The «Purity» release from L’Arc de Langeron, the side project of Casa Ukrania’s Leonid Zhdanov, is dedicated to all the suffering Ukrainian children and their everyday traumatical experience. Serious topics are wrapped here in child’s worldview and light melancholic music, a mix of analogue timbres and children’s instruments that brings both pity and hope for the future renewal.
