KRECH was a Romanian experimental electronic band which was presumably active in the late 2000th. The band excessively used found tapes, diaries, hand-made instruments, synthesizers, and software to create ritual electronic music. In their emails, the band members stated their music was made during and as a tool of conducting magical energy. The band has released two full-length LPs and an EP with a bit of help from Kyiv music artists Divuar and Sean Deigh at the beginning of 2010th.
This particular song featured Divuar's vocals and was released on this compilation with permission from the only band member accessible through the Internet, Petro Chuzhoi. “You can do whatever you want with our music and the band’s name; I don’t care. Others don’t as well, I’m sure. We have released our Will and energy, so our job here is done. Still, the spell can be recast if you add lyrics and voice. I will also be happy if this track's potential will be converted into something that can help your country in these dark times.”
Introspective, homespun folk tunes from John Donne that feel informed by the sugary bleakness of '80s and '90s indie pop. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 1, 2023
